The AI images will be created exclusively on OpenAI's DALL-E 2 software. Both companies promise that the human creators whose work inspired the AI images will receive compensation. However, one well-known artist has already described the move as "leaking sewer water into the drinking system." According to the New Scientist media outlet, Shutterstock was one of several photo agencies that had begun removing AI-generated art from their archives last month.
